Puppies and Older Retirees

Happily, all of Rosie's March 2019 babies are now settled in their forever homes. 2 have gone to show homes and we wish Violet and Darcey the very best of luck in their show careers; we'll be watching their results with great interest. 2 of Rosie's babies stayed with us to see how they grew on. Henry and Hattie enjoyed going to training class each week and joined the show team in September. They qualified for Crufts and the Cocker Club puppy challenge. However, after Crufts, we decided to let Henry go to a pet home as he really didn't enjoy the show ring and wasn't his normal, happy self. It wasn't fair to keep trying to encourage him to do something he didn't like. He has a wonderful life with Lee and Joe now and is the centre of attention at the Carnegie Theatre.

Minnie had her litter in the September, sired by Lujesa Impossible Dream. The 2 boys and 4 girls were a lovely bunch and she was a wonderful mother. All the puppies went to lovely forever homes, from whom we hear regularly. One of the girls went to be a show dog with Alan Crossley and Heather Brown; we wish them every success with Izzie.

Ivy has had a litter with the same stud dog as Minnie's in August 2020. She had 4 black girls and 3 black and tan boys. We're keeping a black girl, Nellie, to show and the others have wonderful new homes. A boy and a girl will also go into the show ring.

Rosie gave us another lovely litter in January 2021, 4 boys and 3 girls, all of whom had been reserved for many months. We decided on our choice quite late on and it's Dolly who's staying with us to join sister Hattie in the show ring later in the year

Occasionally we consider rehoming our older show dogs when they retire from the ring. If you think you're the right person to share their life, please get in touch
